Rau 115 Large Crimping Tool Metal
The Rau Systems 115 tool is used to crimp metal. Such crimps can be used to create what’s called “pig’s ears”, a technique of bending metal in a waterproof method with no cuts.
Because of the size, this tool is mostly used on applications with larger sizes, such as flashings for chimneys and skylights.
On metal roof transitions cuts can be avoided by bending the standing seams correctly with this crimper. This tool can also be used to create the box part of a panel that sits inside a J Channel or Z Channel
